If you are using the default Windows Vista start menu, you will be surprised to see the lack of the commonly used Run command option. The newly designed start menu almost hides this feature. Fortunately, you can enable it yourselves. - Right Click Start Menu and select properties.
- In Start Menu tab, you will see a button for customization.
- Click on it and scroll through for the “Run command” check box.
- Select it and click Okay.
Now you have the restored Run command on lower right hand corner of start menu.
